Why doesn't the Necklace also have four resistance levels?

The Necklace is built to deliver the resistance the SOVT literature recommends for general vocal training. Single-purpose calibration is the point: pick it up, train, set it down. No menu, no decisions. If you want range, the Sing Ring is your tool.

Is the Sing Ring worn on a chain?

No. The Sing Ring is designed to be held during use, like a slide on a trumpet. Wearing brass on skin can leave green marks and accelerate tarnish. Keep it in the included case or your pocket when you're not using it.
